Fire up your engines and grab a cold one! Join us for Rigs & Brews, a relaxed meet-up where our 4x4 community comes together to hang out, talk trails, and check out each other’s rigs. We’ll be taking over the lot at a local brewery to showcase builds, swap stories, and enjoy some well-earned brews with fellow off-road enthusiasts.
Whether your rig is fully built, a work in progress, or bone stock, all are welcome. No trail rides, no pressure—just good people, great vehicles, and cold beer, along with other non alcoholic beverages & a full kitchen.
Bring your rig, bring your friends, and come kick tires with the crew. Members will receive $1 off. We'll stage our rigs in the parking lot out front.

Bangs Canyon Night Run

Let's head out on a full moon night ride at Bangs Canyon. We will meet at the staging area to air down at 6pm and then head up the canyon as a group. The pace will be steady and controlled, and the goal is to enjoy the night ride experience and the views that a full moon brings us.
Ride Details:
-Location: Bangs Canyon
-Date: January 31st
-Trail difficulty: Easy - Moderate
-Vehicle requirements: High-clearance 4x4 in good mechanical condition
-Lighting: Headlights and taillights required; auxiliary lighting recommended
-Radios strongly recommended - we will communicate which channel at the trailhead
*Be prepared for cold temperatures and winter conditions*

This is a casual, no-pressure meet-up—grab a coffee, check out builds, talk trails, and connect with the local off-road community. Whether you’re fully built, just getting started, or simply enjoy the lifestyle, all are welcome. We will park rigs outside of the shop and enjoy the warm climate indoors. Join Western Slope 4x4 for a classic desert adventure as we roll out from Fruita, CO and head west to Moab for a group run on Fins & Things. We’ll meet up at Starvin Arvins to fuel both rigs and drivers, then caravan into Utah together for a full day of slickrock fun. (Moderate - 7 out of 10 rated trail for steep climbs and off camber turns.)
Fins & Things is an iconic Moab trail known for its steep climbs, rolling fins, and unbeatable views. This run is a great chance to wheel with the group, build skills, and enjoy one of the most well-known trails in the area alongside fellow 4x4 and overland enthusiasts. Expect a steady pace, good communication, and plenty of opportunities to spot, learn, and hang out.
Whether you’re coming for the trail, the scenery, or the community, this is what Western Slope 4x4 is all about—getting out there, doing it right, and having a great time together.

Join Western Slope 4x4 for a night run up Coal Canyon on April 4th, 2026! There’s nothing quite like hitting the trail after dark—cool air, glowing headlights, and the canyon coming alive in a whole new way. This will be a relaxed evening run focused on good vibes, solid wheeling, and enjoying the trail under the stars.
Make sure your rig is trail-ready with working lights, and bring your sense of adventure. Whether you’re there for the scenery, the challenge, or just to cruise with a great group of people, this is a perfect chance to experience Coal Canyon from a different perspective. Let’s light it up and make it a night to remember.

Join Western Slope 4x4 for a laid-back day on the trail as we head over to Dome Plateau in Utah. This area offers a great mix of scenic views, classic desert terrain, and just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting while still being fun for a wide range of rigs.
We’ll meet up at Starvin Arvin’s in Fruita, CO to grab breakfast, fuel up, and roll out together as a group before heading west to the trailhead. Dome Plateau is all about good lines, great views, and enjoying time on the trail with solid people who love getting their rigs out and using them.

Ouray Hot Springs to Start
Western Slope 4x4 – Ouray to Engineer Pass Adventure (Moderate to Difficult - 7 out of 10 - Off-camber sections on Mineral Creek, Shelf Roads up to Engineer.)
Join Western Slope 4x4 for a classic San Juan high-country run as we roll out of Ouray Hot Springs and head up Mineral Creek toward the legendary Engineer Pass. This trail has it all—rocky climbs, shelf roads, waterfalls, and some of the best alpine views Colorado has to offer.
From the top of Engineer Pass, we’ll play it by ear and keep the adventure going either by completing the loop toward Lake City or dropping down into Silverton. Either way, expect solid trail time, great scenery, and a full day of wheelin’ with good people who love being in the mountains.
This run is all about enjoying the trail, driving responsibly, and soaking up the off-road lifestyle. Come prepared for changing mountain conditions, bring a capable rig, and be ready for a memorable day in one of Colorado’s most iconic areas.

Ouray Hot Springs to Start
Western Slope 4x4 – Corkscrew Gulch - Hurricane Pass - California Gulch - Silverton (Moderate - 6 rating due to steep ledges and heights. Trail is not very technical)
Join Western Slope 4x4 for a high-alpine adventure as we head up Corkscrew Gulch and climb our way toward Hurricane Pass down California Gulch to Animas Forks. This route is a San Juan favorite, packed with colorful mountain scenery, historic mining remnants, and wide-open views that make every mile worth it.
Corkscrew offers a relaxed but engaging drive with plenty of chances to enjoy the terrain before topping out near Hurricane Pass, where the scenery really opens up. From there, we’ll take in the views, snap some photos, before heading down Cailfornia Gulch to Animas Forks Ghost Town.
This ride is all about getting out, enjoying the mountains, and running a classic Colorado trail the right way. Come prepared for changing weather, bring a capable rig, and be ready for a laid-back day of scenic wheeling with great people.
We will meet at the Ouray Hot Springs at 9am. Let’s air down, roll out, and enjoy one of the best views in the San Juans. Spotting will be available as needed, and no one will be left behind. Participants are expected to follow the ride lead and drive within their capabilities

Black Bear to Imogene Loop – Ouray to Telluride and Back (Difficult - 9 out of 10 due to steep ledges and switchbacks)
Join Western Slope 4x4 for an iconic San Juan mountain adventure! We’ll meet up in Ouray and head out over the legendary Black Bear Pass, dropping into Telluride with jaw-dropping views, shelf roads, and plenty of photo opportunities. From there, we’ll point the rigs back toward Ouray via Imogene Pass, wrapping up an unforgettable high-alpine loop.
This run is all about good lines, good laughs, and enjoying some of the best scenery Colorado has to offer with a solid group of off-road enthusiasts. Expect steep climbs, exposed sections, and nonstop views—along with a relaxed, supportive group atmosphere. Come ready for mountain weather, trail camaraderie, and one classic Colorado trail day you won’t forget. Spotting will be available as needed, and no one will be left behind. We’ll cruise through the canyon, check out some historic cabins along the way, and take time to soak in the views and good company.
This run is all about enjoying the trail, the history, and the community. Expect a casual day with plenty of photo stops, trail talk, and a chance to unwind while getting your rig out where it belongs. Pack lunch, bring your camera, and come enjoy a mellow day on the trail with a solid group of 4x4 enthusiasts. Spotting will be available as needed, and no one will be left behind.
